L. Aaron Bowman

Aaron Bowman is the principal and founder of Bowman Financial Group located in Charlotte, NC. A native of Hickory, North Carolina, Aaron earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University in 1994 and a MBA with a concentration in Finance from the Babcock Graduate School of Management at Wake Forest University in 1999.

Prior to forming Bowman Financial Group, Aaron was a partner at First Financial Resources as head of their Wealth Management practice.

Aaron specializes in wealth management, retirement planning, and financial planning through his affiliation with Cambridge Investment Research. He has extensive experience in asset allocation and customized portfolio design and enjoys solving the unique challenges faced by successful high net worth individuals as they plan for their financial future. As a full service financial advisor, Aaron also utilizes life insurance for families and businesses as an effective means of transferring wealth.

Aaron's commitment to independence enables him to provide unique and cost effective strategies designed for building, growing, preserving, and transferring wealth. His clients include individuals, businesses and business owners, partnerships, trusts, foundations and retirement plans. In September of 2016, Aaron was recognized by Charlotte Magazine as a Five Star Wealth Manager for the 6th year in a row.

Aaron and his wife have two children. They are active members of the First Presbyterian Church of Charlotte, NC. Aaron is a member of the President's Club for the Babcock Graduate School of Management and previously served as a member of the Alumni Counsel. He is very involved in his children's activities, including coaching several sporting teams and Y-Guides. Aaron enjoys spending time with his family in Blowing Rock, NC.
